一种基于方向标记的有限反馈量化方法

摘要:
随着天线数目和反馈比特数的增加,大规模多输入多输出(Multiple-Input Multiple-Output,MIMO)信道向量量化的复杂度大幅增加。为此,提出了一种基于方向标记的有限反馈量化方法。该方法将码本中码字进行分组,每组选取一个向量作为方向标记向量,在进行量化时,信道向量首先与各组方向标记向量进行比较,将与信道向量最接近的方向标记向量所在组选为待选码本组;在待选码本组内进行下一步量化,最终选出与其最接近的量化向量为最优码字。复杂度分析与仿真结果表明,所提方法缩小了待选码字的数量从而降低了计算复杂度,是系统性能与计算复杂度的一种折中。

A Finite Feedback Quantization Method Based on Direction Marking

Abstract:
With the increasing of the number of antennas and the number of feedback bits,the complexity of vector quantization for massive multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO) channel increases significantly.To solve the problem,this paper proposes a finite feedback quantization method based on direction marking.This method groups the codeword in the codebook,and selects one vector as the direction marking vector in each group.When performing quantization,the channel vector is first compared with every direction marking vector,and the group of the direction marking vectors closest to the channel vector is defined as the alternative codebook group.The next step of this method is to perform quantization in the alternative codebook group,and finally the closest quantization vector is selected as the optimal codeword.The method reduces the number of alternative codeword after grouping the codebook,thereby reducing computational complexity.The complexity analysis and simulation results show that the proposed method reduces the error of channel vector quantization due to the reduction of channel vector quantization,which is a compromise between system performance and computational complexity.
