一种新的VANET网络链路丢包率估计算法

摘要:
在车载自组织网络(VANET)协议体系中,网络链路层丢包率的估计和预测十分重要,因为它不仅决定了信息传输的效果,并且其大小将直接影响对上层服务协议的执行。因此,提出了一种基于后验期望估计(PEE)算法来预测和估算链路丢包率。根据对实验数据结果的分析,使用很少的探测包就可以快速准确地对链路丢包率进行估算,而且PEE算法优于最大似然估计(MLE)算法和期望传输次数(EXT)算法。

Abstract:
In the Vehicle Ad-hoc Network(VANET) protocol system,it is very important to estimate and forecast the packet loss rate(PLR) of the network link layer,because it not only determines the effect of information transmission,but also its size will directly influence the implementation of the upper service protocol.Therefore,this paper proposes a Posterior Expectation Estimation(PEE) based algorithm to predict and estimate the PLR of link layer.According to the analysis of the experimental data,the PLR can be estimated more quickly and accurately with few detection packets,and the PEE algorithm is superior to the Maximum Likelihood Estimator(MLE) algorithm and the Expected Transmission count(EXT) algorithm.
